MANAGER SPECIAL CARGO
The overall goal is to grow the business, improve the customer experience and increase the loyalty factor of our key customers by building strong relationships with them and providing a great (customer) service.
The Manager Special Cargo demonstrates a keen level of leadership, possess a strong business acumen and has an excellent knowledge of market dynamics and client base.
Overall result responsibility for a portfolio of reefer and special cargo accounts that are considered as key accounts.
To build a sales team with a high spirit and strong moral which is able to build long term relationships with key clients
Guides, coaches and supports the account managers and inside sales representatives.
Develop well balanced portfolios to ensure appropriate client coverage in line with overall trade objectives and customer segmentation model.
Create annual sales visiting plan for account managers based on customers potential and needs.
Create account management plan for inside sales representatives with defined telesales approach per customer.
Development and maintenance of sales pipeline (target accounts)
Provide short term and long term sales forecast
Set targets for sales team as well as individuals in accordance with sales budget and overall trade objectives.
Analyze market statistics on a regular basis and report to the General Management and teams based in Head office
Asses current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and implement them
Facilitate sales tool kit and keep updated
Open communication and strong interaction with Trade Teams as well as with Sales Support Team.
Fluent in Dutch and English
Knowledge of MS Office software, CRM software
Domestic / international travelling can be required
Willingness to work outside of regular office hours
Sales related tasks as required by management
